Birmingham Airport Terminal 1

The Main Terminal, now known as Terminal 1 was opened in 1984.

Today around 30 airlines operate from Terminal 1.

Arrivals concourse is on the ground floor in the Millennium link Block. You can check arrivals online on the official Birmingham Airport Website.

Check-in desks are located on the ground floor in the main concourse.

Departure Lounges are on the first floor.

• International flights - check in 2 hours prior to departure
• European flights - check in 2 hours prior to departure
• Domestic flights - check in 1 hour prior to departure

Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.

Baggage storage is available on the first floor next to Boots. This facility also offers key holding and baggage delivery service.
