That’s right, it’s that time of year again. It’s March and dogs galore are descending on the NEC in Birmingham for the World’s Biggest Dog Show.
Conveniently, the NEC is located right next to Birmingham Airport, so if you are flying in for the show, it is super easy to get to.
You can always grab a taxi which will only take a few minutes, but the AirRail link is very convenient. You can pick it up at the airport and hop off at the NEC in no time at all!
If you’ve left all your organisation to the last minute, there are plenty of hotels located around the Airport that would be useful for the NEC - check out our list here! Why not stay the night beforehand to avoid an early start in the morning? Or after a long day at the show, it could be a good idea to stay the night before travelling home.
By now you should have all your transport arrangements in place if you are flying into the UK with your dog to compete at Crufts, but if you are trying to get it sorted last minute, or you are interested in how to do it for next year, check out this really useful guide about flying with your pet.
If you are just planning a day at Crufts, why not check out what other great attractions there are in the local area, and make your visit last the whole weekend?
The NEC is a great location and so easy to get to from the airport. Birmingham itself is incredibly well connected, with coaches arriving from all over the country and great bus and rail links. You’d be barking mad not to go!
